Electrician Not Politician

For 14 of the past 20 years I have operated in a leadership capacity across different roles in our field. Whether it's an apprentice and me hand digging a trench or its running a 30 man multi-million dollar project in a rocket facility, the goal is the same: Treat people right, turn out quality work and make good money doing it. Member permitting, I'd like to do that for our local. To remove the current paradigm of narrative supporting rhetoric geared towards member polarization and replace it with one of humble servitude. To be a business manager that works for you and with you until the good fruits of our labor are obvious and undeniable.

I believe that personal agenda driven leadership with a penchant for self-preservation has no place in a position of servitude. That's a politician's scheme.
